Lauren Bavin lives in Auckland New Zealand, the mother of 3 children: Cameron 16, Matthew, 14 Hannah 7, and wife of Steve. Lauren has never really paper scrapped- but has been digitally scrapbooking for nearly 7 years, but it was like she had found her passion in life when she discovered digital scrapbooking. She had been searching on the net for ways to improve her digital photos and ran across some of the digital scrapbooking sites, and she was hooked in seconds. Her style is a constantly evolving thing but generally that of a paper scrapbooker without the bulk of “real “ embellishment

She loves all styles of digital scrapbooking, but her forte is probably the recreation of realistic elements for paper style pages. Self-taught in Photoshop, she has used Paint Shop Pro and Picture It, but is in love with Photoshop!!!

In her real life (when she has one!) she loves to read – her favorite authors are Lee Child and Harlen Coben but has a very eclectic taste and will read just about anything recommended to her, and favorite TV program would probably be "24", but changes her preferences with the wind!
Lauren works full time for DSP , designing, and teaching digital scrapbooking and is honoured that this passion can be now called her career.

She also loves to entertain and does quite a bit of it – scouring her (hundreds of) cookbooks for wonderful recipes to try out. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have time to do as much of this as she used to. Lauren has traveled quite extensively, especially in her early adult years as do many New Zealanders and 2007 has been the highlight of her travel experiences as she has visited the US to meet up with her fellow DSP members not once but 3 times and cant wait to return.

Tooth Fairy Page Kit
[5 of 5 Stars]

"I love the bright colors and had fun creating a LO with it. My favorite is the diamond ribbon because it gave me the inspiration to create the timeline. The elements are darling and can be used for more than a toothfairy LO."

Custom Color Chipboard Alphabet
[5 of 5 Stars]

"When I first saw this I just had to have it!! It's really easy to use and can be filled with any background, color , texture or pattern to match your layout! I really like the font too...I just love it!!"

by Cindy Wante
ColourMe Blue Page Kit
[4 of 5 Stars]

"I love the alpha on this - I bought it to use with heritage pages. The rest is so pretty, and is made of my favorite colors, so I did one week's heritage challenge using almost solely this kit. It works fine with grayscale images. I think I'll use it for poolside scrapping, too. I think it could use more pieces, so I'm answering Lauren's "What should I add to?" challenge with the suggestion. http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=47693&cat=500&page=1"

"Being able to stamp on your layout is so cool and these stamps are just the best. I might even have to go and make some striped paper with them."

Ferris QuickClick Template

"What a perfect way to use several photos on one page. This quick click is great for showcasing all types of photos. I've seen it used for vacations, parties, holidays, and babies. Challenge yourself and take a ride on Lauren's ferris wheel."

"Gorgeous colors and beautiful textures make you want to reach out and touch this kit. The sunflower border is beautiful and so easy to work with - but my favourite is the simply magnificent bow and ribbon."
